Ownership of a horse is a hugely satisfying and wonderful privilege, but it does come with considerable responsibility; their daily well-being, feeding and safety is ongoing – and there are times when that’s not always easy – holidays, work commitments and poor health or injury can hinder the most caring owners’ best efforts.
